I thought cleaning up canals would be boring. Who knew how much garbage there would be! Catherine and I started by cleaning up the peer (Cape Coral City is suppose to clean this everyday). What a mess! Between fishing hooks and cigarette butts, you had to watch every step you took! How gross! You think people would want to keep a fishing peer nice and clean. That is a joke. We also cleaned some cape coral canals. The stuff you find. Beer bottles, plastic chairs, shirts, you name it, it was probably there. People should take better care of the beaches and canals. I personally thought we should clean up Fort Myers Beach since it is literally consumed of garbage. Oh well, maybe next time.
